Late afternoon meeting in Golden meant taking the light rail from Jefferson County Government Center home instead of from the ever busy Union Station. Train station only has one train. No waiting, no choices. Just get on the train and go. The perfect way to end the week! #longshortweek #thankgoodnessitstheweekend

I haven’t run a #halfmarathon since 2017. This morning I woke up to confirmation that I will be running the #elkdoublechallenge this summer. What is the Elk Double Challenge you ask? That’s when you run a 5k one evening and then wake up the next morning and run a half marathon. To up the fun we are going to do it at 7,500’ in @visitestespark as part of the @vacationraces this summer. The pictures of the day include me in Lake Powell at the finish line of my last half and then shortly after laying in bed with ice on my foot because I could barely walk. Important Note: This is not an endorsement for a political candidate. @fatbeninco and I went to the @berniesanders rally at the #denverconventioncenter tonight. I am still very much deciding on who to vote for in the #coloradoprimary2020 and wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to see one of the #presidentialcandidates in person. I am still #undecided and terrified to #wastemyvote, yet in awe of our #democraticprocess that allows people the #freedomtovote and be passionate about issues and candidates. I hope that there are people out there that feel as passionate about a candidate as I felt about @barackobama and that over the next few weeks that I learn more and more about the candidates so I can make the best decision for myself and for my state and country come March 3rd. #coloradoprimary #vote #vote2020 #makeyourvotecount #unaffiliatedvoter
